{Leaders
When a cat becomes the clan leader, they must travel to the Moonpool. There they share tongues with their warrior ancestors. The leader is then given 8 more lives and a new name that ends in star.
{Deputy
A clans deputy is picked by the leader in assisting with the care of the clan. When a leader does pick a new deputy they must do this ceremony before moonhigh.
"The time has come for me to pick a new deputy, I say these words before starclan that the spirits may hear and approve of my choice. (Cats Name) will be the new deputy of (Name of Clan)".
{Medicine Cat
The medicine cat ceremony takes place at the Moonpool. Here they will join the ranks of medicine cats, this ceremony is very secret.
"I (name of medicine cat), the medicine cat of (name of clan) call upon my warrior ancestors. That they might look down on this apprentice. (Name of medicine cat apprentice) has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat. (name of medicine cat apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from the rivalry between clan and clan, and protect all cats equally even at the cost of your life? (Medicine cat apprentice then says I do). Then By the powers of Starclan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. (Medicine cat apprentice name), From this moment you will be known as (Medicine cats new name)".
{Warrior
During the warrior naming ceremony an apprentice gives up the paw half of their name and earns a real warriors name. "I, (leaders name) leader of (name of clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He or she) Has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. (Name of apprentice) Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend the clan, even at the cost of your lives?(Apprentices say I do), Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior names. (Apprentices name), from this moment on you will be known as (New warrior name), Starclan honors your bravery and your strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of (name of clan)".
{Apprentice
Before a cat can become a warrior, they must be trained. At the age of six moons can a kit become an apprentice.
It is at this point that the end of their name changes from kit to paw. "We are gathered today to name a new apprentice. Step forward, from this day forward, until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice will be called (Name of apprentice). (Name of mentor), you are ready for a apprentice. You are (list good things), I expect you to pass on your knowledge to (Name of Apprentice)".
{Elders
Many cats will not make it to become an elder, if a cat does live a long life they will eventually retire from their duties to become elders."(warriors name), it is your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?(Warrior says It is), Your clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon Starclan to give you many seasons of rest".
{Addressing the clan
When a cat addresses the clan they must get on the highrock and say these words.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their on prey join here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting."
