Silentpaw nodded slowly, trying to understand what it must be like to lose someone close to you. She herself had never gone through it before and was having a bit of a hard time grasping what pain Seedpath must be feeling. "Time always passes strangely, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. But eventually everything heals with time. |

Seedpath purred. "I know, but I still miss him." She said. "At least I have you though." She added with a smile to Silentpaw. She considered herself fortunate to know Silentpaw and to have such a wise young friend.
((Does she have a mentor here?))

"I'm glad to have you too. Your one of the few that supports me in what I want to do. And don't worry about your father too much, he's watching over you in Starclan and I'm sure he's very proud of you."
Wind ruffled her pelt, making her shiver just a tiny bit. The sun was sinking lower and lower in the sky, giving into the dark night bit by bit. She sighed, knowing that soon they would have to return to camp.
[No she doesn't have a mentor yet. I would be fine with Seedpath being her mentor if that's what you had in mind.] |

"Of course I support you. I know what it's like to be harassed because of something other cats view as a disadvantage. I'm glad you have the strength to stay determined. Sometimes I feel like I don't." Seedpath said.
She watched as the colorful sky was reflected across the lake, dancing and sparkling as the waves moved across the surface. It was a beautiful evening, and there was a peaceful hush surrounding the lake.

Silentpaw smiled at Seedpath softly, her eyes glowing bright. "Some days its hard for me too. Some days I just want to give up. But I have to keep fighting, to prove everyone wrong and to prove to myself that I'm not weak."
Her tail flicked back and forth, swaying slightly with the breeze. "One day you'll prove them all wrong. Just wait." |

"And so will you. We'll prove to them together that cats can be just as valuable as warriors no matter what difficulties they face." Seedpath meowed with determination and conviction. She wanted to at least try.
She was glad to have the young Thunderclan apprentice alongside her though, because it meant she wasn't alone, and it meant she had someone to boost her when she was down, just like she boosted Silentpaw.

She smiled brightly at Seedpath's words. One day the clan wouldn't treat them any differently then any other cat. They would encourage cats that had disabilities to try hard and to do what they could to help their clan.

"No, we don't." Seedpath said, standing up and flicking some bits of dry leaves from her pelt. "Let's get going." She said, eager to be curled up in her nice warm den.
If none of the warriors were going to give her a hard time. She was never looking for rude remarks, they just seemed to follow her around.

Silentpaw rose to her paws to quickly follow after the warrior, looking forward to the promise of the warm den that awaited her back at camp. Taking on last look back toward the setting sun she saw that it was dipping beneath the horizon, its last streaks of bright color fighting against the coming darkness. |
