Autumnflower lay outside her den, her hind legs sprawled out and her fore paws placed neatly before her as she held her head high and scanned the camp. Her emerald orbs seemed to linger on the couples in the camp, and sometimes fondly regarding the kits playing.
She wasn't old, but she wasn't the youngest in her clan, either. It was time to find a mate, Autumnflower had longed for one for so long. But who in the clan would be interested in her? she was so reserved. At least, around some. She seemed to be mmore playful with the cats she was close to. Maybe she should show that side more often..
Her tail flicked as she thought, her eyes resting on a pair of kits wrestling.

Cloudstar woke from his nap, yawning he streched his chest almost touching the ground, Cloudstar licked his pelt some of the moss was clinging to it, walking out of his den he noticed the camp was active the kits were playing the queens watching them from the nursery,apprentices praticing battle skills,warriors were talking and sharing tongues except for one... Autumnflower. Cloudstar felt strange when he looked at her, Walking to the freshkill pile he grabbed a mouse and padded over to Autumnflower, Cloudstar knew what he felt for Autumnflower now as her scent washed over him, dropping the mouse and pushing it towards her he said
"Hi Autumflower...hungry".

Emerald orbs flashed towards her leader, no other muscle moving. She eventually tilted her head in his direction to look at him fully.
"Not particularly, but thank you Cloudstar." She bowed her head for a moment, showing her thanks.
Autumnflower often felt indifferent about cats, but Cloudstar didn't quite fit into that category in her head. He was different. So kind and...handsome. Autumnsflower had admired him as a leader for quite some time, but she realized soon after she became a warrior how she truly felt about him, which was much more that loyalty to a leader.

Cloudstar sat down and watched Autumnflower, turning his head he stared at the nursery memories flooded into his mind. Purring he looked back at Autumnflower she looked as if she was thinking to. Cloudstar felt a warmth inside of him when he was by her. Lying down and tucking his paws under his chest, he asked not looking at her "Autumnflower do you want to come hunting with me?"

Autumnflower's ears flicked when her leader spoke. A feline grin crept across her maw and she turned her head to look at him.
"I'd love to." She purred, her tail swished and brushed against Cloudstar's flank.

"Well then lets get going." Cloudstar started walking to the entrance. This would be great just him and Autumnflower out hunting. He turned around to look at her.
"Well are you coming or not"and turned back and raced out of camp.

"Let's see if you can keep up!" she exclaimed before standing and bolting after him. It'd been awhile since she'd been alone with Cloudstar, this would probably be a blast...and yet she felt butterflies in her belly, trying to flutter out.
She reached Cloudstar and passed him, laughing and grinning like a happy kit.

Cloudstar raced after Autumnflower it took him awhile but he now ran beside her "your fast." he said They ran like this for a while, until Cloudstar smelled something "wait" he got into the hunters crouch and followed the scent...mouse! he could see the creature searching the ground for seeds, Cloudstar crept closer to the mouse before leaping into the air and landing atop the creature and killing it. Cloudstar looked up at Autumnflower the mouse dangling in his jaws.

Autumnflower stopped and skidded to a halt when her leader ordered her to wait. She waited patiently for Cloudstar to finish his kill.
When he looked back to her with the dead mouse she giggled and her eyes shone with her laughter.
Soon though, her nose caught the smell of a wood pigeon and she crouched low and followed it, soon after a cry could be heard from the bird as it was pounced upon and killed by Autumnflower. She returned an set it down. She began cleaning her paws, taking slow deliberate stroke of her tongue, just to make Cloudstar look.

Cloudstar looked at Autumnflower as she slowly cleaned her paws, but Cloudstar smelled something else, so he followed it leaving Autumnflower. Cloudstar was lead to a tree the smell was strongest near it, Cloudstar got in the hunters crouch and circled the tree a few times before leaping into the air grabbing the surprised animal and finishing it off....a squirrel that is what he had caught. Cloudstar padded back to Autumnflower dropping the squirrel near her purring with satisfaction.

Autumnflower grinned again and flicked her ears.
"impressive." She said, her eyes playful. She leaned forward and rubbed her cheek against his as a "congratulations".
She was purring as well, her face felt hot, and she didn't quite look at him.

Cloudstar was surprised what Autumnflower had done. Purring louder ge rubbed her cheek back.Cloudstar took steps away from Autumnflower and looked her in the eyes
"Autumnflower I...I...I love you"
Cloudstar held his breath would she be angry with him, does she think the same about him thoughts were racing through his mind as he waited for a reply.

Her ears flattened and her eyes grew wide. She was in a state of shock, no muscle moving other than her heavily beating heart and the slow rise and fall of her chest as she breathed.
"C-Cloudstar..." She managed before inwardly melting.
"I..I-I love you too..." She stuttered, looking at the ground.

Cloudstar slowly walked over to Autumnflower and licked her shoulder "Lets head back to camp." he turned and grabbed his kills and started heading back he stoped and looked a head "coming"

Autumnflower nodded and picked up her kill, trotting after her leader. She came to his level and bumped his flank with hers playfully. A muffled giggle was heard coming from her.
Her heart was still beating extremely fast and she couldn't help but feel warm all over as she walked so close to her leader.
